Please join us for the next AIA Tucson Society lecture, installment #4 in the "Writings out of Time" lecture series! On Thursday, November 5 at 4:00 p.m., Dr. David Owen, The Bernard and Jane Schapiro Professor of Ancient Near Eastern and Judaic Studies in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at Cornell University (and Curator of Tablet Collections, The Jonathan and Jeannette Rosen Ancient Near Eastern Studies Seminar) will present "Life and Death on the Estate of a Princess in 21st Century BCE Mesopotamia." The lecture will be held in the Special Collections wing of the Main Library and is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the talk.
